(1996) Information Graphics: Design of Understanding
|
This low-budget publication, published with the support of two local newspapers, was created to help regional arts organizations promote their programming. The information design is immediate, direct, and easy to understand. Categories and daily listings are presented so that finding an event of interest is as easy as choosing a favorite TV show. Said the designers, “When we hear that people put up the At-a-Glance spread on their refrigerator, we feel successful. We’ve assisted the end user in identifying the arts as accessible, which implies a call to action.”
