Description

This publication was a collaboration between photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto, author Jonathan Safran Foer and designer Takaaki Matsumoto. Mr. Foer wrote a piece of short fiction to accompany these photographs of the Richard Serra sculpture Joe at the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts and Mr. Matsumoto designed the publication. The size of the book is large to accommodate the scale of the artworks. The typesetting is spare and meant to enhance the flow of image and text.
