(1996) A Decade of Sports Graphics

Description

This state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex in downtown St. Louis showcases a variety of world-class events. The designers were challenged to develop graphic themes and images that would appeal to diverse audiences, from family concert-goers to avid sports enthusiasts. Accordingly, the design team developed graphics based on hockey and basketball images and materials: an oversize hockey stick and basketball court laced together form a section wayfinding signs, while real basketball leather adds a texture, pattern, and visual interest to restroom signage.
