Description

Created as part of the National Football League's 1989 "Stay in School" education initiative, this public service announcement communicates the NFL's commitment to education by characterizing each of its 28 member teams by its helmet, a symbol of power. Contrasted with a mortarboard – symbolic of the education that powers us through life – this simple roll call of icons proves that effective, strong advertising can be created without big budgets.
