Description

The desigers' challenge was to develop a new logo and logotype that would anticipate the spirit and passion of future fans of the Carolina Panthers, an NFL expansion team. The logo also had to accommodate a variety of applications, from team helmets, uniforms, stationery, print, and video ads to commercial use on a wide range of licensed merchandise. Instantly recognizable yet different from other NFL team logos, the Panthers logo readily became a powerful unifying symbol of Carolina pride.
