Smack in the heart of right center field at Oriole Park at Camden Yards – a stadium heralded for re-
creating the intimate character of earlier ballparks – stands this sign created for Maryland's State
Lottery. Calling on lottery players and baseball fans alike, the "Hit it Here" sign has since become a mainstay of the ballpark and remains the subject of animated conversation and friendly debate.
