In the manner of issue number 34, Chwast found quirky stories from newspapers of the thirties and illustrated them in his noir-inspired woodcut style. The last piece of art shown on page 92 was based on a photo of Mussolini and other officials. The cover art was again printed on coated stock and tipped onto the newsprint.
