Multicultural Nationalism
Salamander Hill Design, Elgin, Quebec, 2005
Description
As a book-cover designer based in Canada, I can’t tell you how many times I have been faced with cover projects dealing with Canada as the subject. The obvious choice is to use red and the famous maple leaf from the flag. This book deals with multicultural nationalism in Canada. Showing leaves from different species of trees on the same branch conveyed this in an unusual way.
Juror Notes
