The text of this book is a particularly happy subject for W.A. Dwiggins in a “Chinese” mood, and the result is up to the jury’s expectation. Cover design, decorations at the head of chapters, vignettes, and the Borzoi marks are all harmonious. This is a book that looks like a private-press entry but is in reality a trade book\, at a moderate price.
