The audience for these posters is sports enthusiasts and college students who participate in rowing and paddling regattas across the United States. This was the first poster created for what eventually became an annual fund-raising event for a local YMCA. Inspired by the fluid strokes made by rowers and paddlers, the designers built an international red, white, and blue brand recognition for the event based on the feeling of strength.
