Lincoln Center
Katz Wheeler, Whitehouse & Katz, 1985
Description
The problem was to help users negotiate the concourse level of the Lincoln Center complex, an anxiety-producing, featureless space which offers almost no architectural cues, and to related the concourse to the wonderful resources at hand. The isometric is a combination of the schematic and the pictorial, with the well-known facades of the buildings related to a clearly defined concourse.
