Texaco Credit Card
Anspach Grossman Portugal, Inc., 1985
Description
The Texaco Credit Card was specifically designed to reflect the dynamic presentation of Texaco retail facilities. The red Texaco logotype was purposely placed at the top of the card so it would be visible in the customer’s billfold or credit card case. The “shooting star” is symbolic of motion associated with an accelerating automobile. The card was designed to stand out from all other petroleum companies’ credit cards.
