Texaco USA needed a comprehensive standards manual to be read by key field personnel responsible for the nationwide application of Texaco’s newly designed retail facility standards program. Pictures and guidelines relating to how facilities should look (primary road signs, restroom identification, fuel dispenser graphics, color scheme, etc.) are included. A storybook approach is used. Highly technical specifications (for instance, bolt dimensions) were excluded from the manual to insure clear communication of content.
