American Photography 15

Sagmeister Inc., New York, New York, 1999

Description

We could not decide on a single image among all the photos in this book to use for the cover and ended up showing them all. The striped, almost abstract pattern on the cover features tightly compressed versions of all photographs in the book. By slicing an image into 420 parts and printing it as a bleeding frame on all pages, American Photography 15 features a panoramic photograph of a quintessential American landscape all around the spine and edges of the book.
