The Progressive Corporation 1997 Annual Report
Nesnadny + Schwartz, Cleveland, Ohio, 1998
Description
For this annual report, “true stories” were included that show how Progressive meets the needs of its customers seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, and is changing the face of auto insurance. Eleven artists were commissioned to respond visually to each narrative. Their work was published in the report and then became part of Progressive’s art collection. We were challenged to create an annual report that was worthy of the incredible history that is associated with these publications. Working within a very loose framework, in which the possibilities for creative investigation and expression were quite broad, we wished to invent a publication that was specifically relevant to Progressive.
