Monadnock Revue Recycled

Pollard Design, East Hartland, Connecticut, 1995

Description

Created as a paper promotion and printing demonstration for revue, a premium recycled paper, and including the introduction of a new 100% post consumer waste paper, the piece was designed for maximum efficient utilization of a 25” x 38” sheet of paper with minimum amount of waste. Images of nature through the seasons, accompanied by relevant poetry and prose, link the natural cycle of regeneration - new life from old matter - to the process of recycling. Our intention was to make a printed paper promotion become something of value: by utilizing both beautiful images and words and providing useful information, it would perhaps be saved and not added to the world’s overflowing landfills.
