Paula Savage Hansen, SAVAGE

Paula is a native Texan, born in Galveston and raised in Dallas. As a graduate of The University of Texas, she moved to Houston where she has been in the graphic design profession ever since.

After working in the business for five years, Paula founded SAVAGE in 1973, which specializes in branding and corporate design. A pioneer in interactive media, she also founded related companies, MacInterfaces and Net Explorer. For more than three decades, she has promoted design as a strategic business asset. Today, Savage’s branding and corporate design expertise has been widely noted, attracting Fortune 100 companies, nonprofits and international corporations as clients.

Hansen has been instrumental in establishing a strong reputation for design excellence and mentoring the next generation of design leadership. In addition, the staff is encouraged to further their communications and business knowledge by seeking leadership opportunities in professional organizations, as well as teaching and volunteering in the community.

Savage’s work has been featured in the profession’s most prestigious award shows and publications.
