George School Viewbook

Rutka Weadock Design, Baltimore, Maryland, 2001

Description

George School is a coed Quaker boarding school for grades 9 to 12, in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Viewbook, the school’s primary admission publication, is sent to prospective high school students and their parents.

We used candid images of students, activities, academics and the campus to convey both a sense of the physical environment and the tremendous energy of the George School community. We approached the images honestly and the result is a book that is appropriate to the Quaker values of the institution, compelling to its audience and budget-conscious. Viewbook was printed in a three-year quantity; the supplement text will be updated each year.

Juror Notes

“Not overdone. You have to look at it a couple of times to get how great it is.”
