It is not new to choose decorations from Greek vase paintings for a book of Greek mythology. But it is unusual to find them used well. In addition Pantheon has managed to include 764 condensed pages in a not too thick octavo appropriately bound. There is value, charm and solid worth in this book, but the color of the text printing is uneven.
