Blower, Snowboarding Inside Out

Blower, Snowboarding Inside Out

Book, Book, Book, Long Beach, California, 2001

Description

The most challenging part of this project was trying to represent the feeling of snowboarding to snowboarders while still keeping it accessible to outsiders. The structure of Blower is meant to be both linear and nonlinear. It’s intended to take you through a day of snowboarding, the progression of the sport itself and the history of snowboard design. It is organized so that you can start anywhere, move forward or backward and still it makes sense; if you get stuck, there’s an index which gives brief but potent insight into what you have seen.
