50 Books/50 Covers of 2010 jury bios Arthur Cherry began designing in 2003 but has been drawing since he was a child. His design studio, Design by AAD, is located in Kansas City. He specializes in book jacket and cover design but also creates brand identity, plays with type, takes photos and works on various projects print and digital for a wide range of clients. He has received recognition in Print Magazine’s Regional Design Annual, been awarded AIGA’s A4 and A5 design awards and been featured in GOOD magazine and INK magazine. He earned a BFA in Visual Communication from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. In his spare time, when he is not traveling, he can be found cycling around on one of his bikes.
