Sony Comdex ’96 Graphics
Drive Communications, New York, New York, 1996
Description
Comdex is the largest annual electronics show in the United States. This year Thinc Inc. designed an edgy and playful environment to showcase Sony Electronics. Drive Communications designed a graphic program that complemented the vibrant setting produced by the architects. The graphics included trapezoidal product-identifier cards, general wall signage and signs denoting distinct exhibit areas: twelve-foot dimensional words suspended in the air. We also produced information-intensive graphics, such as a history of electronic recording media.
This project reflects the best of all possible worlds in graphic design. We worked with a client who respected creativity, colleagues who fostered self-improvement, and we produced an energetic and information-rich graphic campaign we are proud of.
