The 2000 presidential election ended with a controversial determination by the Supreme Court, and from the day it was made, the Bush v. Gore decision has provoked passionate argument. The butterfly ballot proved to be the perfect symbol for the cover, substituting the candidates for the title, editor and list of contributors.
