Fondo de Cultura Económica, 2007

Description

A child finds a duck. He uses it as a rocking chair, as a hat, and as a nose. A duck finds a child; it uses him for rubbing his back, as a watchtower, and for waxing its bill. This accordion-fold book in two colors tells two versions of the same story, from two points of view, using the same images.

Juror Notes

A combination of fun, inventive imagery and type that somehow tie together harmoniously.
