Prints & People A Social History of Printed Pictures

Prints & People A Social History of Printed Pictures

Peter Oldenburg, 1971

Description

The prime considerations were to produce a readable book and to relate the illustrations as closely as possible to the text. The illustrations themselves had to be of a “readable” size and at the same time produce a pleasant layout. Color was omitted to make the price conducive to wide relationship.
