George Tscherny, Inc., New York, New York, 1995
Description
The month of January was named for the ancient Roman god Janus, who traditionally looks back to the past year and forward to the new one. The two opposite faces of Janus are appropriate images to symbolize the Winter Quarter as it begins on the threshold of the new year.
