Fugitive Days cover

Werner Design Werks, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota, 2002

Description

Fugitive Days is a memoir written by a member of a radical group in the ’60s. It details life on the run and a search for identity and meaning in tumultuous times. Although the story hinges on a bombing, the publisher didn’t want the focus of the cover to be violence; they wanted it to be about the search for what is right. The cover literally indicates reflection on things past, and the rough, handlettered type hints at the very personal nature of the story and the violence involved.
