“Johnny Cash: The Legend” special limited edition (20,000 numbered copies) is a 128-page coffee-table book containing five CDs, which feature some of the most relevant music of the artist’s career, and a DVD, featuring some of his TV shows.
The intent of this musical package/book was to pay homage to the life and work of Johnny Cash. The book is designed in a way that it does not feel like a new item but more of a scrapbook that has been read over and over, full of history, containing a life of its own.
Its large size, 16 x 12.5 inches, and its 100lb yellowish cover stock used as text pages contribute to its heavy weight, which adds to the experience as the viewer goes through the life of the musical legend in this predominantly visual package.
