Response 10 Brochure

Herman Miller Inc., Zeeland, Michigan, 1995

Description

This piece encapsulates the product vocabulary of a new quick-ship program. It is a self-contained direct mail brochure, used by Herman Miller dealers in their local markets. (the back cover is blank for dealer imprints and mailing labels). Targeted to small and mid-sized businesses—an audience that is not as familiar with the complexities of contract furniture—it is designed and written to be simple and catalog-like. Yet it still communicates the breath of Herman Miller’s product offering, including systems furniture packages, chairs, storage products, and fabric and finish options. It also introduces new customers to some office management issues such as ergonomics, work style preferences, and technology support. Though color photography needed to be used to show products in realistic contexts, the cost to the dealer had to be under one dollar.
