Heritage Trails New York

Chermayeff & Geismar, Inc., New York, New York, 1995

Description

This graphic system orients and informs visitors to Lower Manhattan. Interpretive kiosks and an interactive video orientation center give visitors free, convenient street access to historical and contemporary data. Four color-coded trails delineate pathways between major landmarks and locate the East and Hudson rivers, while maps point to major streets, subways, and local facilities.
