The White Boy Shuffle

The White Boy Shuffle

Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston, Massachusetts, 1995

Description

The White Boy Shuffle is a work fiction, a satire with a good deal of street prose in the mix. Calef Brown’s art illustrates the tone and setting of the book, L.A.’s volatile landscape. The concept was to highlight the raw, funny, and literary nature of the novel. The jacket is printed on Strathmore uncoated textured stock which besides complimenting the art, evokes a feeling of the book being an object of fine literature. It’s crazy beautiful.
