The Cornucopia

The Cornucopia

Robert Cheney, New York, New York, 1973

Description

The goal was an attractive medium-priced book about food history, heavily illustrated and annotated but inviting in appearance rather than scholarly. Period illustrations and engravings cover a span of over five centuries. A special design problem was combining text with the wide variety of illustration styles.
