Demonology

Demonology

Office of Paul Sahre, New York, New York, 2000

Description

Many of the stories of Demonology have death or violence at their center. The title piece is a sobering meditation on the life and death of the protagonist’s sister; other tales include an account of a drive-by shooting at a McDonald’s and a narrative about the inner workings of a budget-wedding palace. The levitating Smarties reflect the mood of the title story while suggesting a “collection.”
