Capsure Holdings Corporation 1995 Annual Report

Petrick Design, Chicago, Illinois, 1996

Description

Insurance is an abstraction. It is impossible to see, feel, or photograph. It is, however, essential. We chose to represent an abstract notion, in this case the idea of transition, as an essential part of life.

The theme was established with prose on page one, presented in poetic form. It was then played out through a gallery of photographs. The photographs take on new meaning once you look at them with the notion of transition in mind. In this way, Capsure positions itself on a higher plane, as a more sophisticated player in the insurance industry.

This is a summary annual report. For reasons of cost, the book was consolidated to sixteen pages. A unique glueless pocket was designed to house the 10-K on the back cover. The overall effect was intended to convey economy and efficiency without sacrificing elegance and quality.
