Skeleton Key EP

Skeleton Key EP

Sagmeister, Inc., New York, New York, 1996

Description

The singer of Skeleton Key brought in a quirky Mexican guy’s illustration he had done on a postage stamp. There was no time and no budget so we just cut the stamp up, blew it up, put some other illustrations behind it, and shipped the whole thing.

Since it was a one-color job, we talked the label into matte-laminating the board. We wound up with two hits of black anyway to get that cherished “No more black” comment from the audience.
