The assignment was to design a stock certificate reflective of the new TRW identity system which would function within the limitations set by the New York Stock Exchange and all other exchanges where TRW stock is traded. Restrictions are the use of a minimum amount of scrolling pattern; script type over certificate-of-stock title; horizontally ruled areas to define stock number and shares; an engraved figure; pertinent information for recording ownership of stock; and the TRW seal.
