Lisa Feldman Design, Scarsdale, New York, 1995
Description
Hannah Wilke was a pioneering body artist and feminist sculptor who used photographs and other media to address personal and universal themes. In this catalogue, the designer chose to remain true to the classic calm and directness of the artist’s expression, constructing a dramatic performance that invites the viewer to experience Wilke’s artistic process. Ultimately, the piece portrays the human, dignified way in which she lived life and confronted death.
