Sustainable Design
Moon Jung Jang, Athens, Georgia, 2008
Description
The main communications objective was to introduce the October 2008 international seminar, Sustainable Design. With clear legibility, the poster focuses on awareness about the climate crisis and the hope of green growth. To convey that idea, I used a universal representation of color and shape: the black circle in the middle of the poster represents the Earth’s crisis and the bleeding green stands for living hope. In addition, using only two colors satisfied the client’s need for a low-budget project.
Juror Notes
It’s so clear. The image holds up to all the information. Such confidence to be so simple.
