Nike, Inc., Beaverton, Oregon, 1995

Description

"Alley Hoop," located in Harajuku, Japan, combines a competitive basketball court with a retail environment. The space was designed to create energy and excitement about Nike basketball products and celebrate the game. Interior banners depict Nike athletes and tie into the court graphics. The large exterior mural highlights the attitude of streetball. The 3-D exterior banners suggest stylized basketball hoops and showcase Nike basketball stars.
