Description

Paula Scher is a master of the big image who takes a bold approach to communicate subtle and monumental graphic design solutions. She has developed identity systems, promotional materials, packaging, and publication designs for clients that include The New York Times Magazine, the Joseph Papp Public Theater, the American Museum of Natural History, Champion International, and Ambassador Arts. Scher joined Pentagram as a partner in 1991 after building her practice and reputation at her own New York consultancy, Koppel & Scher. She has received hundreds of design awards, including four Grammy nominations from the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences, and her work is represented in the collections of New York's Museum of Modern Art, the Zurich Poster Museum, the Denver Art Museum, and the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.
