DJ Mixed.com: Keoki and Micro
Moonshine Music, West Hollywood, California, 2000
Description
The initial concept of djmixed.com was created to be a series that combined a website devoted to the DJ culture with the DJ mix market of electronic music. The combination of the html address and graphic elements of DJculture were used to create the concept of the covers— images of turntables, headphones and needles. Metallic inks were also used to represent the electronic technology of the music and the Internet. In contrast from looking like a typical underground rave flyer, the design was kept simple, graphic and modern while still attracting the attention of electronic music enthusiasts.
