While designing a collectable Qee toy, we realized their “egg” figure would be a perfect promotional reminder of Jesse Williamson, Williamson Printing Corporation’s larger-than-life president. Williamson quickly ran out of the toys, and we soon learned that Jesse had lost over 100 pounds. We rushed to create a new “skinny” version and commemorate the transformation of both man and toy with a poster.
