Windhover ’07
RasterMaster, Raleigh, North Carolina, 2007
Description
Windhover is the arts and literary magazine for North Carolina State University. The idea of the journal as a catalog of artifacts has been taken to an extreme with this issue, borrowing visual language from the sciences to show each work, whether it be word or image, as a piece of university’s environment.
Juror Notes
The “documentary” language developed by the designers—the petit diagram, elegant typography, changing papers—helps elevate this publication far above the usual compendium of college-campus creative work.
