Three Young Rats and Other Rhymes
Curt Valentin, S.A. Jacobs, 1944
Description
Juror Notes
This is a luxurious art book existing by reason of the wiry drawings, which are a natural with type. It is marked by rich paper and by a large scale. While the typography and presswork are not quite equal to the paper, the large size, and the illustrations, the book remains impressive, and the playful spirit of the subject matter is not dampened by the handling. The binding is simple, with cloth backbone and paper sides.
