Narrative of an Expedition Against The Revolted Negroes of Surinam
Richard Hendel, Amherst, Massachusetts, 1972
Description
This is a re-edition of Stedman’s eighteenth-century journals, co-published with the Imprint Society (whose edition was produced with different paper stock and binding material). Plates were supposed to have been printed on same stock as text but were not because of communication breakdown between Massachusetts and Holland.
