The George Gund Foundation 1997 Annual Report

Nesnadny & Schwartz, Cleveland, Ohio, 1998

Description

The George Gund Foundation is a private, nonprofit institution with the sole purpose of contributing to the well-being and progress of society. The annual report states the activities, achievements, and goals of the foundation by describing its grant-making in the past year to an audience of grant recipients and applicants, trustees, other foundations and corporations, and various governmental agencies.

The report contains a powerful photoessay that symbolizes the mystery and majesty of Lake Erie, to reflect the foundation’s long-standing interest in the future of the lake and ever-growing awareness of the many roles the lake plays in the life of the community.
