“RE: Formations/Design Directions at the End of a Century”
plus design, inc., Boston, Massachusetts, 1996
Description
This exhibition was based on “Re: formations,” found or manufactured objects that artists have drawn into new configurations without altering or concealing their original function. Our solution re-forms the standard index card into a reusable product. By printing on the unlined side of the index card, the viewer is encouraged to reuse the catalogue for notes or sketches. Collated and bound by hand, blank cards were inserted into the catalogue to represent a standard 50-card spiral-bound book.
