Zurich Reinsurance 1995 Annual Report: “Do Not Open”
Leimer Cross Design, Seattle, Washington, 1996
Description
Zurich Reinsurance is one of the companies that the insurance industry depends on for covering and sharing risk. As the profiles of risk change dramatically, the responses the company and its employees have learned become less and less valuable. The important point of view is one that is flexible, responsive, and capable of recognizing new stimulus. Our goal was to provide a primer to customers and employees that demonstrated the importance and effectiveness of leaving old habits and reflexes behind in favor of adapting to new conditions, while demonstrating to shareholders that a company with the ability to develop new responses and new ideas is one that will thrive in changing conditions. We think the strength of the Zurich book is in the tight relationship between text and visuals, and the sectional structure that allows readers to view the company conceptually, from management’s perspective, or financially.
