“Journey of Transformation” brochure
World Vision, Federal Way, Washington, 2002
Description
World Vision needed to communicate in a compelling way to potential donors the complicated story of how a poor community is enabled to discover its own self-sufficiency, and to inspire them to give monetary resources to that cause. The brochure had to tell the story on two levels—one that would work on its own as a broad overview, and another that would contain the detailed information for one-on-one presentations with donors. To accomplish this, text and color were used to quickly communicate the overview, while details embedded within the illustration show the steps in a community’s dramatic journey to hope and progress.
