Description
This book was compiled by the noted printer Robert Grabhorn over more than forty years of his life. It is a collection of proverbs, anecdotes, and facts about food and related subjects.
Special features: Each page is set within a Fournier border printed in blue. Vignettes are printed throughout and at chapter headings in red-brown; they are taken from wood engravings in Ecole des Cuisinieres, Paris, c 1870.
